I didn’t really know much about makeup at all.

I wanted to know! I wanted to be able to know what I needed to do to look "right", how to pick out the right colors for my skin and tones.

And especially - I wanted to know what the professionals did. How did the models and actors use their makeup? How did they make it look so good? They always looked great! Their makeup never looked caked on. It looked like just their skin, only better than normal... a LOT better.
I wondered how the professionals did it.

I didn’t know anything about makeup except what I copied from my mom and from magazines. I was worried that when I put on my makeup I’d do it wrong, and strangers (even my friends) would laugh at how bad I was at it. It made me really nervous to try new things with makeup.

For me, I started with dance, and that led me into modeling and acting. I could finally see the pros do makeup RIGHT, every day I had a gig. I found out a lot of things that most people don’t know anything about...
I learned a lot, and it made me feel so much more confident.

It was so nice to be able to put on my makeup and just know that I was doing it right. To know those tricks that helped me look just the way I wanted to. I didn’t have to worry about anyone judging me, like I used to.
So why am I telling you this?

I know a lot of people have the same issues I used to have, and I didn’t like having those issues. So it’s made me want to share my makeup tricks, share what I’ve learned. I want you to be able to not have to worry anymore about makeup, not worry if you’re doing it right or wrong. To be able to get the look that you want. Since not everyone gets a chance to go to a studio to learn how to apply makeup professionally, I’ve put this together to help you.....
